Please read through the following information to plan your arrival.

According to the latest announcement made by the HKSAR Government, all inbound travellers are required to follow quarantine measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Please see the points to Note for Quarantine for Inbound Travellers Website for details: https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/inbound-travel.html

Public Health and Environmental Hygiene in the Student Residential Hall

In view of the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the college is introducing public health and hygiene protocols for the return to normal occupancy of the Residential Hall in 2022-23. From the residential period in Fall Semester 2021-22, all residents will be required to have completed full vaccination against COVID-19 14 days or earlier before check-in. Residents who fail to provide relevant vaccination proof will not be able to check-in, the SAO will not be responsible for such loss.

For the list of vaccines accepted by the Hong Kong government, please see: https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/list_of_recognised_covid19_vaccines.pdf

The student Residential Hall is a spot of higher risk due to the nature that students live closely to each other. Measures such as mask wearing in common areas and provision of hand sanitizer, etc. are practices common to the hall areas.

In case of an outbreaks occurs in the hall, a rapid response mechanism has been established to handle such incidents should they arise.

Anyone who is determined by the Centre for Health Protection as a confirmed case of COVID-19 or a close contact of a confirmed case, please report immediately to the Hall Tutorial Team or Student Affairs Office by phone 2972 7426 by email to sao@chuhai.edu.hk for follow-up action.
