珠海學院職員和同學組成「珠海搶孤隊」，參與香港潮屬社團總會於「2018盂蘭文化節」期間舉行的「搶孤院校賽」。「珠海搶孤隊」在初賽中未受太大考驗，順利躋身決賽。可惜於決賽分組遇上強敵，最終無緣進入總決賽。然而，各隊員享受比賽過程，親身體驗一下盂蘭文化。

2018/19年度本地學士生申請章則 （由蘋果日報慈善基金網站由提供） 2018/19年度本地學士生申請表 （由蘋果日報慈善基金網站由提供） 「2018 – 19年度(22屆)蘋果助學金」本地學士生資助計劃（珠海學院） 宗旨： 2018 – 19年度蘋果日報慈善基金，為家庭經濟有困難的珠海學院本地本科生提供學業及課外活動的資助，扶助他們成長。本年度共提供3名助學金名額，每名助學金得主可獲港幣五千元助學金。 申請資格： 2018 – 19年度就讀全日制學士學位（為個人首個學位）之珠海學院學生； 香港永久性居民（不包括持有香港學生簽證的留學生）； 家庭面對經濟困難； 同一學年內申請人只可就一個合資格的全日制學士課程申請資助； 年齡在25歲或以下。 申請方法： 申請表可到學生事務處索取，或於蘋果基金網頁http://charity.appledaily.com.hk下載。請將填妥的申請表，連同證明文件副本，於申請期內交回學生事務處。所有申請將會先由學院審批及提名，再送呈「蘋果基金」作最後審批。如遞交資料不全，申請將不獲處理。 證明文件副本清單： 申請人身份證 申請人學生證 申請人及家庭成員的銀行賬戶紀錄（最近3個月），包括儲蓄或定期、港元外幣、聯名賬戶 申請人及家庭成員所有收入證明等文件副本（如未能提供收入證明，請填寫收入自述書） 其他文件副本（如有，例如：綜援、傷殘津貼、病歷證明等） […]
