Hong Kong Chu Hai College held a solemn and dignified flag-raising ceremony on January 1, 2026.
The ceremony was conducted by members of the college’s flag-raising team and the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, who performed the Chinese-style marching drill and sang the national anthem. The event was successfully completed in the presence of faculty members and students. As a token of appreciation for the support of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Ms. Hoo Tat-ling, Senior Manager of the Student Recruitment and Administrative Office of Hong Kong Chu Hai College, presented a commemorative gift to Mr. Chong Chi-kong, Director of the Training and Development Division of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol.
The college remains committed to upholding patriotic values and will continue to hold national flag-raising ceremonies on January 1 (New Year’s Day), July 1 (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day), and October 1 (National Day) each year. These ceremonies aim to strengthen the sense of national identity and patriotic sentiment among faculty members and students, while encouraging students’ development and sense of social responsibility.
