Hong Kong Chu Hai College held the HKSAR Establishment Day Flag-Raising Ceremony on 1 July 2026. Staff and students gathered near the College Main Entrance to participate in the solemn ceremony and celebrate the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
At 10:00 am, the National Flag was raised accompanied by the playing of the National Anthem. All participants stood respectfully throughout the ceremony, witnessing this meaningful occasion together. The flag-raising ceremony was conducted by the Hong Kong Chu Hai College Flag Raising Team, with valuable support and professional guidance provided by the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, ensuring that the ceremony was carried out smoothly. The flag-raising ceremony demonstrated respect for the nation while strengthening a stronger sense of national identity and patriotism among staff and students.
Hong Kong Chu Hai College places great importance on national education and whole-person development. Through organizing a range of educational and commemorative activities, the College seeks to deepen the understanding of national and local development among staff and students. The College will continue to promote such initiatives to nurture a sense of national pride and social responsibility and foster a harmonious campus environment.
The Hong Kong Chu Hai College Flag Raising Team, with the support and professional guidance of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, marched in to commence the HKSAR Establishment Day Flag-Raising Ceremony.
Members of the Flag Raising Team assembled in formation before the flagpoles during the solemn flag-raising ceremony, demonstrating respect for and recognition to the nation.
In recognition of the support rendered by the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, Prof. Hon S. Chan, Vice President (Academic & Research), Acting Registrar of Hong Kong Chu Hai College (right), presented a commemorative souvenir on behalf of the College to Mr. Chong Chi Kong, Commissioner of the Training and Development Department of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (left).
The College management and staff, together with representatives of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol and members of the College Flag Raising Team attended the flag-raising ceremony to mark this significant occasion of the anniversary of the HKSAR Establishment Day.
