In January 2026, the Physical Education Unit of Hong Kong Chu Hai College organized an overseas sports exchange activity, leading 20 representatives from the school’s basketball team, badminton team, and table tennis team to Korea. This activity provided a unique opportunity for male and female athletes of the college to engage in cultural and sports exchanges with Korean university athletes, aiming to enhance individual skills and prepare for the upcoming Hong Kong University Sports Federation competition.
This exchange activity invited sports teams from nine well-known Korean universities, including Yonsei University and Seoul National University, to participate in friendly matches with our school’s teams. During the matches, outstanding sports skills and high sportsmanship were displayed. Athletes from both sides shared experiences and improved their skills through competition. After the matches, students were also encouraged to establish friendships with Korean athletes, further promoting interaction and exchange in a cross-cultural context.
After two days of high-level matches, the exchange activity concluded successfully. Our athletes not only improved their technical skills but also gained valuable experience from the competitive spirit and training methods of the Korean athletes. Moreover, they developed a deeper understanding of Korean culture. This journey undoubtedly laid a solid foundation for them to face more challenging opponents in the future and brought them new inspiration and confidence.
