Student Locker Application and Result

2025-26 Academic Year Student Locker Application (Registration Closed)

1. Eligibility
   1. Applicable only to full-time students. Non-residential students (including those living off-campus) will be given priority.
   2. Applicants must provide a valid student ID and identification document for verification.
2. Application Process
   1. Application period: 9 September, 2025 (Tuesday) to 17 September, 2025 (Wednesday).
   2. Students must apply by filling out the “Online Application Form” via the email titled “2025/26 Academic Year Student Locker Application” issued by the Student Affairs Office.
   3. If the number of applicants exceeds the predetermined quota (140 lockers), a lottery will be conducted to determine the results.
   4. The Student Affairs Office will announce the application results through the following channels:
      • Student email notifications
      • Student Affairs Office website
      • Notice board on M Floor
   5. Successful applicants must complete the procedure in person at the Cashier Office on East Wing 1st Floor within one week after the results are announced (i.e., 22 September, 2025 (Monday) to 26 September 26, 2025 (Friday)). A deposit of HKD 500 (cash only) is required. Applicants must present a valid student ID and identification document for verification.
3. Rules and Regulations
   1. The locker usage period is from 22 September, 2025 (Monday) to 29 May, 2026 (Friday).
   2. Before using the locker, students must sign an agreement for the following terms:
      1. Lockers are for storing personal belongings only. Storing illegal, flammable, hazardous, or environmentally harmful items, or items that pose safety risks to others (e.g., valuables, explosives, animals, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
      2. Students must clear the locker and remove the lock before the expiration date.
      3. If the locker is not cleared by the deadline, the college reserves the right to cut the lock and dispose of the items inside without prior notice.
4. Deposit
   1. Upon approval of the application, students must pay a deposit of HKD$500 (cash only) at the Cashier Office.
   2. If the locker is not cleared by the end of the usage period, the following deductions will be made from the deposit:
      • Within the first week after expiration (30 May, 2026, to 5 June, 2026): HKD$100 will be deducted.
      • From the eighth day onward (6 June, 2026): HKD$50 will be deducted daily until the deposit is fully deducted.
   3. If the locker remains uncleared after the deposit is fully deducted, the Student Affairs Office reserves the right to dispose of all items inside without prior notice.
5. Refund of Deposit
   1. If students clear all items from the locker and remove the lock before the expiration date, and the locker is undamaged, the full deposit of HKD$500 will be refunded.
   2. The refund process will be completed within 10 working days after the Student Affairs Office verifies the locker’s condition.
6. Other Regulations
   1. Students must bring their own locks and ensure the locker is always locked.
   2. Students may only use the locker assigned to them.
   3. If the locker is damaged or vandalized, students must report it immediately to the Student Affairs Office. The college reserves the right to charge the responsible student for repair costs.
   4. If students lose their lock or key, they must apply to the Student Affairs Office for lock cutting and may NOT handle it themselves. The college will arrange for the lock to be cut by the relevant department, and HKD$50 will be deducted from the deposit as a lock-cutting fee.
   5. The Student Affairs Office reserves the right to adjust and interpret these regulations based on the college’s actual circumstances without prior notice.
