Tai O Cultural Tour

Another off-campus extension activity of the “Hong Kong Cultural Carnival”, the “Tai O Cultural Tour”, was held on 21 March 2026, taking students into the fishing village of Tai O, often referred to as the “Venice of Hong Kong”. Led by tour guides, participants engaged in on-site explorations of the stilt houses, the Kwan Tai Temple, and the Tai O Heritage Hotel-a former Tai O Police Station revitalized into a heritage site. Students also had the opportunity to join hands-on tea cakes workshop and interact with local residents, gaining a deeper understanding of the fishing village’s historical evolution, architectural ingenuity, and cultural heritage embedded in traditional craftsmanship, personally immerse in the tradition and rich local warmth of this unique water town.
