The Student Affairs Office arranged a visit to the T2 Community Liaison Centre on November 21, where students followed the engineering team to explore this key infrastructure project in Hong Kong 🔥
From the project introduction and the “360° Immersive Tunnel Experience Zone” to interactive exhibitions, the visit offered students the opportunity to put on safety gear and inspect the construction site in person. They not only learned about tunnel construction methods but also gained deeper insights into how innovative technologies—such as the Tunnel Boring Machine, Smart Tunnel Quality Inspection System, and Air-Ground Coordinated Tunnel Automatic Inspection System—play vital roles in modern engineering. Students engaged actively, asking questions and interacting directly with engineers to learn about their daily work and career development paths in the industry 💼⚡
