One of the keys off-campus extension activities of the “Hong Kong Cultural Carnival” – the “Central Night Bus Tour” took place on 20 March 2026. Students boarded a distinctive open-top double-decker bus and travelled past a number of iconic landmarks in Central, while audio guides provided in-depth insights into the historical and cultural significance of the streets and their architectural evolution. From the bustling commercial core to the heritage-rich ancient alleyways, students experienced the transition of Central from day to night under the evening sky and to gain a fresh perspective on the history and development of the district.
