Adjusting to life in Hong Kong is indeed a big challenge for non-local students. On 17 February 2025, the Student Affairs Office organised a “Cultural Surprises of Hong Kong” sharing workshop. Students not only discussed the everyday difficulties they faced, but also shared their interesting experiences related to clothing, food, housing and transportation. In addition, Student Ambassadors were invited to share their own experience to help non-local students navigate cultural differences more effectively.
