On 31 October 2026, the Student Affairs Office held the second instalment of the Inclusive Festival — the Heartfelt Inclusive Learning Journey! 🐕🦺✨
The Hong Kong Guide Dogs Academy is housed in the former Lau Fau Shan Police Station. After revitalisation, this historic building has found a new mission. Through this experience, students walked through the station’s history, witnessing how the building transformed from guarding the border to guarding visually impaired individuals, and gained a deeper understanding of how guide dog Little Q gives visually impaired people love and courage, becoming their guide 🦮💙
Students also took part in a darkness experience, stepping into the daily life of visually impaired individuals and realising that “inclusion” is not just a concept — it is understanding, respect, and the power of walking together 🤝
