Community Care Action : Wet Market Surplus Food Recovery Experience Tour

 在香港，每日超過3,000公噸食物被棄置，另一邊廂，基層家庭卻為「下一餐」而憂慮。資源錯配不是遠方的問題，而是我們身邊的真實。代入・觀察・理解，親身走進街市，參與剩食回收與派發，拉近你與貧窮的距離。

Every day, over 3,000 tonnes of food are thrown away in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, grassroots families struggle with the uncertainty of their next meal. This isn’t a faraway problem — it’s happening on our doorstep. Through observation, participation, and understanding — step into the wet market, take part in surplus food recovery and distribution, and bridge the distance between you and the reality of poverty.

活動目的

Purpose
  • 透過體驗與反思，鼓勵參加者在日常生活中減少浪費，支持食物回收及共享理念 Through hands-on experience and personal reflection, participants are encouraged to reduce waste in their daily lives and support the principles of food recovery and sharing.
活動內容

Content
  • 前往街市回收剩食 Collect surplus food from the wet market
  • 蔬菜篩選及分類 Sort and grade the recovered vegetables
  • 派發食物予區內有需要人士 Distribute food to people in need within the community
  • 活動分享及問答環節 Post-activity sharing and Q&A session
