Hong Kong Cultural Carnival

Student Affairs Office organized the “Hong Kong Cultural Carnival” on 18–19 March 2026. Through interactive experiences, students can gain an in-depth understanding of the unique cultures and historical contexts of various districts in Hong Kong in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Activities included a knowledge-based quiz challenge of the iconic landmarks of Central, exploring the city’s architectural culture and its historical evolution of East-meets-West influences; a hands-on simulation of the traditional drying procedures of dried seafood, offering a glimpse into the maritime heritage and wisdom of the stilt-house community; and a “Spiritual Fortune Station”, which reimagined the century-old fortune-telling tradition of Che Kung Temple by combining it with positive, uplifting interpretations, guiding students to face life’s challenges with an optimistic mindset.
