In view of the recent surge in scam cases targeting students, Students Affairs Office organized the “Anti-scam Talk” with Hong Kong Police Force on 28-29 January 2026. Inspector of Police Ms. Yuen Wai-yee from the Police Community Relations Office of Tuen Mun District, shared real-life examples of the latest common scams targeting students. Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Wong Ho-hon, Deputy District Commander of Tuen Mun District, also answered students’ questions on the spot. Students were encouraged to visit the College’s anti-scam webpage and join the dedicated WeChat group set up by Tuen Mun District Police for students, where they could receive the latest updates and interact directly with police officers in real time.
