Community Care Action : Wet Market Surplus Food Recovery Experience Tour

在香港，每日超过3,000公吨食物被弃置，另一边厢，基层家庭却为「下一餐」而忧虑。资源错配不是远方的问题，而是我们身边的真实。代入・观察・理解，亲身走进街市，参与剩食回收与派发，拉近你与贫穷的距离。

Every day, over 3,000 tonnes of food are thrown away in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, grassroots families struggle with the uncertainty of their next meal. This isn’t a faraway problem — it’s happening on our doorstep. Through observation, participation, and understanding — step into the wet market, take part in surplus food recovery and distribution, and bridge the distance between you and the reality of poverty.

活动目的

Purpose
  • 透过体验与反思，鼓励参加者在日常生活中减少浪费，支持食物回收及共享理念 Through hands-on experience and personal reflection, participants are encouraged to reduce waste in their daily lives and support the principles of food recovery and sharing.
活动内容

Content
  •  前往街市回收剩食 Collect surplus food from the wet market
  • 蔬菜筛选及分类 Sort and grade the recovered vegetables
  • 派发食物予区内有需要人士 Distribute food to people in need within the community
  • 活动分享及问答环节 Post-activity sharing and Q&A session
