提高警惕 防止騙案

各位同學 :

近來以電話/電郵行騙個案大幅增加,故特函各同學,希望大家提高警覺以免受騙。

一般而言,騙徒會假冒速遞公司職員、銀行職員、政府人員或電訊公司職員等,以電郵/電話聯絡受害人,以不同藉口詐騙受害人,並要求受害人進行金錢轉賬、繳交保證金及透露個人資料(包括姓名、身份證號碼、銀行戶口號碼及密碼等)。

以下是一些防騙建議:

  • 內地及香港執法人員絕不會透過電話要求市民進行任何金錢轉賬或繳交保證金;
  • 如遇到有人自稱執法部門人員或其他機構職員,以不同理由指示市民交出個人資料及財產,應該主動查證及再三向相關機構核實來電者的身份;
  • 切勿將金錢存入陌生人的帳戶;
  • 切勿交出銀行帳戶號碼以及網上理財密碼;
  • 若來電者稱已脅持你的親戚或朋友,請即報警;

一般而言,骗徒会假冒速递公司职员、银行职员、政府人员或电讯公司职员等,以电邮/电话联络受害人,以不同借口诈骗受害人,并要求受害人进行金钱转账、缴交保证金及透露个人资料(包括姓名、身份证号码、银行户口号码及密码等)。

以下是一些防骗建议:

  • 内地及香港执法人员绝不会透过电话要求市民进行任何金钱转账或缴交保证金;
  • 如遇到有人自称执法部门人员或其他机构职员,以不同理由指示市民交出个人资料及财产,应该主动查证及再三向相关机构核实来电者的身份;
  • 切勿将金钱存入陌生人的账户;
  • 切勿交出银行帐户号码以及网上理财密码;
  • 若来电者称已胁持你的亲戚或朋友,请即报警;

BEWARE OF DECEPTION

Dear Students,

 

To increase students’ awareness of various kinds of scams, the latest modus operandi of deception and scam alerts are provided for reference.

Swindlers usually made phone calls to victims, pretending to be the staff of courier companies, bank, telecommunication companies Officers of government, and request the victim to make payment, pay ‘guarantee money’ or  disclose personal data (including name, ID number, bank account and password).

Advices is shown below:

  • Officers of Hong Kong or mainland government would never request a member of the public to make any money transfer, or pay any caution money.
  • If the callers claim themselves as agents of government or other institutions and request for your personal data and property with various reasons, contact the corresponding offices for verification of identity of callers.

 

  • Do not transfer money to strangers’ bank accounts.

 

  • If the callers claim that your relatives and friends were abducted, please call police immediately.

 

If students meet the aforementioned situation, don’t disclose any information, or make any money transfer. If in doubt, please call Students Affairs Office 2972 7366 or the Anti-Scam Helpline 18222.
